Powerful coastal storm to bring snow, wind to DC area

All eyes are fixed on a developing coastal storm over the weekend with snow impacts increasingly likely for New York and Tri-State Area.
A strong nor’easter is expected to form near the Mid-Atlantic coast on Sunday, threatening to bring accumulating snow, strong winds and travel disruptions.
At 1:54 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service released a winter storm warning valid from Sunday 7 a.m. until Monday 6 p.m. for Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
